May 25, September 28, and December 7 & 8
Times
The market is open to shoppers from 9-2pm. Set up begins as early as 6:30.

Dotsero

Taking their name from a small mountain town in the Rocky Mountains of  Colorado,  DOTSERO  means  “Something  Unique”  according  to Ute Native American legend to some. It means  DOT-ZERO on the earliest geographical  railroad  maps to others, but to  jazz  fans worldwide   DOTSERO  means  Contemporary  Jazz  at its best, full of life  energy and spontaneity that few artists in the genre have been able to match. A no nonsense sax and guitar driven thrill ride of energy and excitement. As  much fun to watch as they are to listen to. The band has performed at major jazz festivals; Red Rocks Amphitheatre, JVC Winter Park Jazz Fest,  Jazz Trax  Catalina Island  Jazz Fest  and The Cancun Jazz Festival, among others. From Ala Carte Ala Park in San Francisco to West Palm Beach’s Sunfest,  DOTSERO  has crisscrossed the nation performing their exciting brand of  jazz.

Invisible Bird

A guitar, trumpet, and drum trio collectively led by three engaging and unique artists from the Bay Area and Colorado; Scott Amendola, Shane Endsley, and Dave Devine. Invisible Bird was formed in 2017 and is releasing it's debut album, Flutter to Fuzz, in the Spring of 2018. The group broadly employs the use of electronics to branch out from the raw acoustic trio sound. Trumpet and guitar take turns covering bass lines and all three players create swirling digital textures with a hefty collection of boutique stomp boxes. The three distinct compositional voices in the group craft original music that transport the listener from rootsy back beats to anthemic indie rock to acoustic modern jazz trio to ambient electronica. Invisible Bird also reinvents classic repertoire from artists like Nick Drake an Joni Mitchell and toys with new hits from artists like Bruno Mars and Rihanna. The debut album features cameos from special guests Sam Amidon and Orenda Fink (Azure Ray). Look for the group to be on the road starting in June of 2018!

Cinco de Mayo 5k - Colorado Brewery Running Series

We are the Colorado Brewery Running Series and we run for beer!

Cinco de Mayo 5k

Join us at Cheluna Brewing on Sunday, May 5th @ 11AM for a 5k-ish course that starts and ends at this awesome brewery! Weave through the surrounding area at whatever pace you like, no matter what, there’s a beer waiting for you at the finish line!

We are all about being active, having fun and giving back to our local community. +10% of your registration dollars go directly to local non-profits!

Registration is limited, so sign up today!

ABOUT THE RUN:
This may be different than other “races” you’ve done. We like to keep things relaxed, and all of our events are untimed so everyone can run or walk at their own pace. Instead of closing down the streets, we ensure a safe and fun running route on sidewalks, through parks, and along trails. The course is staffed with encouraging volunteers to cheer you on and point you back to the brewery for your much-deserved beer!

EVENT DAY DETAILS:
Please arrive 30 minutes before the start to get checked-in.

Bring a valid ID. You do not need to be 21 to enjoy the event, but must be 21 to enjoy the beer. Please drink responsibly! (Registered, underage participants receive a complimentary non-alcoholic beverage).

This is an open course, meaning roads will NOT be closed. You are responsible for obeying all traffic laws and regulations.

We run rain or shine! Dress appropriately for the weather.

There will not be a bag check; please plan accordingly.

Bring extra money if you want to purchase food, more beer, or any of our great Colorado Brewery Running Series merchandise!

Learn more at breweryrunningseries.com/colorado

WHAT'S INCLUDED:
All participants receive a FREE craft brew from the brewery and get to take home a collectors pint glass or seasonal swag item from the Brewery Running Series...plus goodies and giveaways from our partners and sponsors + a chance to win sweet door prizes and more free beer! Your registration also earns you an invitation to stick around and enjoy the day’s entertainment: live music, food offerings, local vendors, and fun with our sponsors.

Colorado Brewery Running Series merchandise, including shirts, hats, stickers, heat press brewery logos, and seasonal items will be available at the event. You can also add on a Brewery Running Series T-shirt for $10 at the time of registration, and pick it up when you check-in on site.

WHAT WE'RE ABOUT:
Our motto = be active, have fun, give back! In addition to pairing some exercise with great craft beer, a portion of all proceeds goes back to local non-profits. We are very proud that the Colorado Brewery Running Series has so far donated over $14,000 to local non-profits! 10% of our proceeds help support our nonprofit partners, which in 2019 will include, The House that Beer Built, Dumb Friends League, and Range of Motion Project.

Tibetan Singing Bowls Concert

Yoga instructor and sound healer Chris Anne Coviello and her husband Jason Coviello of The Healing Space Wellness Center perform together in this warming winter concert. The concert begins with the Hang Drum, a rare steel drum that is tuned to notes that vibrationally correspond to the heart chakra. Jason and Chris Anne then play the Tibetan singing bowls. Since the body is made up of mostly water, the vibrational effect of the Tibetan singing bowls feels like a full body cellular massage. Wear comfortable clothes and bring a yoga mat or blanket.

No children permitted in this program as it is a very quiet concert and any noise is distracting to other participants.

With more than 715 students, Westerly Creek Elementary is one of the largest elementary schools in the DPS. Westerly Creek’s major fundraisers like the spring auction help us strive to be the bridge between district funding and the actual cost of our children’s curriculum. Without help from the Westerly Creek community, our children’s education would not regularly include Art, Drama, Physical Education, Library and Technology as well as full time Paraprofessionals.
